Improving your Golf game is just a matter of developing good golfing techniques and practicing those techniques until they become part of your normal game. Small changes can often make a big difference to your game score!

Try the tips below to help improve your game:
Golf Slice
The most common reason for slicing a golf ball is when you have an out-to-in swing path. Most people try to cure a golf slice by aiming their body well to the left of the target area, this is completely the wrong thing to do. If you follow our tips below you should be on your way to curing the golf slice...
  • Start by addressing the ball correctly, your shoulders hips and feet should all be pointing at the target.
  • 2 Try to find an object which is directly in line with yourself and the target (roughly about 2 metres away) Now as you start your down swing concentrate on hitting the ball but also concentrate on keeping the club in line with the object lined up with the target, this should help you keep the club travelling along the correct path to avoid a slice.

  • Golf Hook
The Golf hook is probably easier to cure than a slice. Try the tips below they should help improve, if not cure, a Golf Hook...
  • The first thing to do is to loosen your grip on the club, most peoples grip is far too tight, you should be holding it loose enough for someone to pull it out of your hand, don’t make it too loose though we don’t want any accidents!
  • Make sure that when you address the ball it is forward in your stance.
  • Open you stance a bit and aim slightly to the left of the target, this will put the correct rotation on the ball.
  • Concentrate on finishing with your weight on your forward foot with your belt buckle facing the target, this is single most important factor in solving a hook, if you can finish with your weight forward you should never experience a hook again!!!!

  • Hope that helps!
